1 June 2001 DFEE funded website Worklearn goes live

Nexus Internet Solutions Ltd a Brighton based web agency were asked to develop the Worklearn website. The brief was to produce a fast loading website, suitable for clients at home or in a library setting, accessing the site with older equipment. The site needed to be optimised for high search engine ranking.

Worklearn is a partnership of organisations in West Sussex who offer Information Advice and Guidance to adults . This is funded by the Department of Education and Employment to give adults the help they need when seeking advice on work or learning.

The organisations who are part of this partnership include:
West Sussex Careers, Adult Education, The Library Service, all the FE and 6th form colleges in West Sussex and others. Worklearn is a project of the West Sussex Learning Partnership.

Worklearn can help anyone over the age of 20 who wants more information about opportunities in learning or work, whether thinking of a career change, returning to work after a break, achieving new qualifications, upgrading old ones or considering a hobby class at night school.
