UK Intranet Developers - Southwark Customer Service Centre Extranet
There has been a need for modernisation and improvement in the Southwark Council. The Forward@Southwark (F@S) programme is designed to raise standards, modernise services and put focus on customers for all services. As part of F@S a Customer Service Centre (CSC) was procured to assist in offering an improved level of customer service.
The project included
- A secure, password protected, Extranet site that allows external suppliers to access published documentation.
- The ability for the project team to:
- view
- add
- amend
- delete the documents on the extranet site.
- A questions form to allow bidders to request more information relating to any document or service in the data room.
Forward at Southwark Extranet
The objective of the project is to have F@S programme on the Intranet available to all Council employees and members. Information on the programme, all projects included within the programme, project plans and training materials should be readily available for viewing and updating by selected employees.
The project provides
- An Intranet presence for F@S
- Employee access to all projects under the F@S programme
- An update for employees involved in the projects and those just needing information
- A place for programme managers and project managers to upload information about the programme or project
- Implement, including training, if necessary
- Administration page, this should be password protected with two levels of entry, super user and project manager user. The super user should have access to the entire site and should be able to update and load to any part of the site while the project manager user should only have access to their individual project(s). The administration site is strictly for loading files, removing files or updating files. The super user should have the ability to provide access to individual PM users.
